I was born and raised in San Diego where I also attended college, majoring in television and film production. My professional writing career began at a local cable TV station where I wrote marketing videos, promotional spots and public service announcements, some of which still haunt the airwaves.
Blinded by the dazzling lights of Hollywood, I moved to Los Angeles where I earned my MA in Screenwriting, met my husband, adopted a semi-bald Cairn Terrier named Wiggins, and settled into a career in the interesting but strange world of the entertainment industry.
A dedicated Anglophile and history buff, I love combining my passion for history and storytelling through romantic fiction. I am also a published poet and my work has appeared in numerous literary journals. When not writing, I can be found reading non-fiction history and enjoying any movie with a costume and an accent.
